Iniesta wins 100th cap as Del Bosque rings changes

Spanish stalwart Andres Iniesta wins his 100th cap on Monday as boss Vicente del Bosque made seven changes to the deposed champions side which lost 2-0 to Chile for his side's World Cup Group B dead rubber against Australia.

With both sides already eliminated from the competition, Del Bosque has handed an opportunity to many of his squad that didn't feature in their opening two defeats with Iker Casillas, Gerard Pique, Xavi Hernandez and Diego Costa among those to miss out.

Iniesta, whose goal won the title for the Spanish four years ago, keeps his place allowing the Barcelona star to reach the landmark.

The experienced duo of Fernando Torres and David Villa start in attack in what is expected to be their last appearance at a World Cup.

Australia are without their all-time top goalscorer Tim Cahill through suspension and Mark Bresciano due to injury so Oliver Bozanic and Adam Taggart start in the only two changes from their 3-2 defeat to the Netherlands on Wednesday.
