Football: England call up Sterling for Poland tie

England added Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling to their squad on Saturday ahead of Tuesday's final World Cup qualifier against Poland at London's Wembley Stadium.
The 18-year-old helped the England Under-21 team beat their San Marino counterparts 4-0 on Tuesday and already has one full England cap to his name after playing against Sweden last year.
His latest summons into the senior set-up came after England manager Roy Hodgson lost the services of Manchester United's Tom Cleverley before the 4-1 qualifying win over Montenegro at Wembley on Friday and then saw Kyle Walker collect a suspension during that match which ruled him out of Tuesday's fixture
Victory over Montenegro preserved England's lead at the top of European qualifying Group H and meant they will now secure a place at next year's World Cup finals in Brazil if they beat Poland.
