Blackpool manager Paul Ince will not be able to attend his side's next five Championship matches after he received a five match stadium misconduct ban from the Football Association (FA) on Tuesday.

The 45-year-old former Inter Milan, Manchester United and England midfielder -- who was in trouble earlier in the season being fined for remarks made about a referee -- admitted to three charges of misconduct arising from the 2-1 win over Bournemouth on September 14.

He had also been charged with using abusive and/or insulting words and threatening words and/or behaviour.

Ince was also fined £4,000 ($6,400).

The suspension, which will begin with immediate effect, prevents the former England captain from attending matchdays, starting with the home game against Wigan on October 19.

It means Ince will not be present at a Blackpool game until November 30, when they entertain Sheffield Wednesday.

Blackpool's form has taken a turn for the worse since the win over Bournemouth which saw them go top of the second tier table, but they have drawn four and lost one of the five games since to slip to sixth, six points off leaders Burnley.

Ince, known as 'The Guvnor' during his playing days, was sent to the stands in the latter stages of the match at Bournemouth after a bottle he threw inadvertently hit a female supporter although he said he apologised immediately for that.

However, he was held to account for his behaviour in the tunnel afterwards and the language he used towards the referee.

Blackpool issued a statement saying that they would seek to ensure the team did not suffer adversely on the pitch with Ince absent.

"Blackpool Football Club acknowledges the decision of the Football Association and will now work closely with Paul and his coaching staff to ensure that the penalty imposed does not affect our short or long-term objectives.

"The club will be making no further comment at this stage."
