Real Madrid's Gareth Bale missed out on his first taste of action at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday after pulling up with an injury in the warm-up.

The Welshman had been due to start the match against Getafe after being included in coach Carlo Ancelotti's original starting line-up.

However, the 24-year-old returned to the dressing room ahead of his teammates during the warm-up and Spanish media reported he has suffered a thigh injury.
