Rudi Garcia will step down as coach of Marseille at the end of the Ligue 1 season after the French giants failed to qualify for European football next term.

"I've decided to leave. I put forth this solution to my president who accepted it," Garcia said Wednesday at a press conference, two days ahead of Marseille's final game of the season against Montpellier.
