Shakhtar Donetsk sealed their 12th Ukrainian league title on Sunday, beating Zorya Luhansk 1-0 to secure the domestic double.

Ukraine striker Junior Moraes scored the only goal for Shakhtar in the 10th minute.

The game was played in Zaporizhya -- 400km from Luhansk -- as both teams are in exile following the conflict in eastern Ukraine.

With three games to go, Shakhtar took an unassailable 11-point lead over second-placed bitter rivals Dynamo Kiev.

The title ensures Shakhtar go straight into next season's Champions League group stage, with Dynamo entering the third qualifying round.

On Wednesday, Shakhtar won their 13th Ukrainian Cup after thrashing second-tier side Inhulets Petrove 4-0.
