Genk claim fourth Belgian league title

Genk wrapped up their fourth Belgian league title on Thursday after a 1-1 draw at Anderlecht left them four points clear at the top with one game remaining.

Reigning champions Club Brugge saw their title defence end with a 2-0 loss at Standard Liege, although they are guaranteed to finish second and reach the Champions League qualifying rounds.

Genk, who had previously won the top flight in 1999, 2002 and 2011, will play in the Champions League group stage next season.
