Duo to sign for Lille

Ligue 1 club Lille announced their first two signings of the summer on Thursday with winger Eric Bautheac and defender Renato Civelli on their way to northern France.

Bautheac has agreed to join from Ligue 1 rivals Nice on a three-year contract and will undergo a medical on Friday, Lille said.

French sports daily L'Equipe put the fee at between 1.5 and 2.4 million euros (£1.1m-1.7m, $1.7m-2.7m) for the 27-year-old Bautheac.

Argentine central defender Civelli, 31, has agreed a one-year deal and will arrive as a free agent after leaving Bursaspor in Turkey.

Civelli, formerly of Nice and Marseille, will help plug the gap left by the departure of Danish international Simon Kjaer to Fenerbahce of Turkey.

The duo are the first signings made by Lille since they appointed the Ivory Coast's Africa Cup of Nations-winning coach Herve Renard as their new boss.
